Today was primarily a travel day with a lot of hurry up and wait moments.  My original plans included visiting the butterflies at the Museum of Science and History and then going to the zoo for a glimpse of the Giant Pandas -- but it was cold and I hadn't slept well.

I'm worried about the "S Child".  I have not been the best mentor... or at least I don't feel like I have.  The goal was to give her the tools necessary to be successful.  Some days I think she really gets it and then other days she is more like a 10 year old, and a spoiled 10 year old at that.

Oh Well... I was looking at pictures today and found this one.  It intrigues me.  If I were still teaching it could be the perfect writing prompt.
